SHARK CARTILAGE

The book, “Sharks Don’t Get Cancer”, by Dr. I William Lane and Linda Comac, is a must read for those seeking information about studies done using shark cartilage. However, super dosages are not entirely necessary as is claimed in their book.  Shark Cartilage, as a food supplement, is helpful and preventative with many afflictions. Its main action is anti-angiogenesis meaning, "stopping blood supply to tumors", thereby helping to slow or stop their growth.  In 1979, Dr. Folkman published in the New England Journal of Medicine, "Tumors cannot grow without a network of blood vessels to nourish them and to remove waste products". He went on to say, "Inhibiting the development of blood vessels could be a potential cancer therapy". He also states in his book that arthritis, psoriasis and other skin conditions, enteritis (inflammation in the lining of the bowels), macular degeneration and other eye problems, burns and immune problems can be helped with Shark Cartilage.  Ingredients: Shark Cartilage Standardized (Minimum 23% Mucopolysaccharides) (Minimum 35% Protein). 1000mg 100 tabs.
