Horsetail makes a good wash for swollen eyelids (open two or three capsules and add to boiling water to make a thick tea and apply). Horsetail is high in Silica. As we age, we lose much of our natural Silica and our joints become stiff. Taking six or more Horsetail each day may supply this missing Silica. One should feel more agile and loose within three weeks after beginning to take Horsetail.

Horsetail helps Calcium work better in the body. It is well known for its strengthening of finger nails and preventing split ends in our hair.
