The essential oil of cinnamon is steam distilled from the leaves and young twigs of the cinnamon tree, which is found in East India and Ceylon. The familiar, spicy, sweet scent of cinnamon has been enjoyed for centuries and was one of the most valuable spices in the spice trade.

The warming and stimulating effects of cinnamon are useful in strengthening and toning the respiratory, circulatory, and digestive systems. Cinnamon also helps to lift and warm tired, cold people. Used well diluted in a massage oil. Its warming properties help to relieve the symptoms of rheumatism, especially when they are caused by cold, damp weather. Cinnamon has an enjoyable fragrance that is pleasant to use as a room scent and it Is very effective at removing unwanted odors. It is also a natural insecticide, effective at keeping moths away and treating skin parasites.

PROPERTIES: Antiseptic, antibacterial, aphrodisiac, anti-rheumatic, stimulant, digestive.

BLENDS WELL WITH: Frankincense, Orange, Ylang Ylang, Clove, Lavender, Nutmeg.

PRECAUTIONS: Use only pure Cinnamon Leaf oil, as a cinnamon bark is a skin irritants. Use in moderation and always dilute well with concentrations of no more than 1%.

For a festive room fragrance: Vaporize three drops Cinnamon and four drops Orange in the diffuser to create a cheerful, friendly atmosphere.

For a sensual massage: Blend three drops Cinnamon with eight drops Ylang Ylang in one oz. unscented massage oil.

For relieving stress and tension: Dilute two drops Cinnamon and three drops Frankincense in one teaspoon unscented bath oil. Stir water before entering bath.

For a deodorizing room spray: To dispel unwanted cooking odors, add four drops Cinnamon to two oz. water in a glass atomizer. Shake well before each use.
