Agaricus Blazei Murill and Reishi Mushrooms

Derived from the mushroom Agaricus
Blazei Murill, NKC may be used as a tonic to reduce fatigue, improve general
health, and boost the immune system. Native to Brazil, Agaricus Blazei Murill
mushrooms are now also cultivated in Japan, Korea, and the United States. The
mushroom's effect on the immune system has been verified by clinical trials,
which have shown an increase in the number of white blood cells, a rise in the
activity of natural killer cells, and an increase in production of tumor
necrosis factor-alpha. Researchers in Korea and Japan have declared it an
effective treatment for supporting the immune systems of cancer patients
undergoing chemotherapy. Agaricus Blazei Murill and Reishi mushrooms are
thought to owe their beneficial effects to Beta-Glucans, a group of
immune-boosting agents also found in Shiitake and Maitake mushrooms as well as
in yeast. Avoid if: Other than an allergy to mushrooms, there is no
know reason to avoid this product. Possible Drug Interactions: There is a
theoretical possibility that the Beta-Glucans in this product may enhance the
effect of some cancer drugs and antibiotics. However, no practical benefit from
this interaction has yet been reported. NKC Mushroom Extract is also
available in a liquid form 10 gram vial. Ingredients: Agaricus Mushroom,
Reishi, Cordyceps 50% Concentrate and Xylose. 90 caps or liquid vials.
